Have been subscribing to PENNINGTON pages for months, and low and behold
information on Oklahoma Penningtons comes thru. I was born in Ada, Okla
of Jack Ervin PENNINGTON and Ruth Irene GLADWILL PENNINGTON.

My grandparents were ELZA (not Elja) COLUMBUS PENNINGTON 9/26/1895 - Oct
1976 Shawnee, Okla. and EUNICE Lorance(?) PENNINGTON dates unknown.
Elza was one of ten children of WILLIAM JORDAN PENNINGTON, 9/14/1857 and
Martha Savannah BENNING 10/15/1884. Therefore I connect to the history
line at that point thru the hard and patient work of Gene Pennington -
group 7. It's the recent family I trying to sort of put together,
reason being my parents were divorced in the early 50's and my father
remarried to a "Margaret" not sure of her last name. And I also don't
know how my PENNINGTON g.parents got together and from where. This makes
the more recent time a puzzle. Appreciate any information and/or
connections.

PS. My mother's parents lived in Ada and have the name GLADWILL-
Rudolph H. Gladwill 10/27/1886- 4/1972 and Maude Busby Gladwill 12/9/??
- 12/16/78. I have an obit on my G.father but have a little info on my
G.mother. My g.father is buried at Masonic Memorial Cemetry and my
g.mother is also suppose to be buried there. Maybe one day I'll get
back to Ada to check on that. Any info on GLADWILL or BUSBY of
Ada,Okla. will also be appreciated.
