I just would like to take this opporunity to thank those of you who sent
Lecil Pennington get well wishes. They have ment alot to him and his
wife. They have called us telling about the mail they were getting.

As you know, Mr. Pennington has been very ill. They are working with
local doctors to decide whether to send him to another hospital for the
tumor on his colon. The surgeons here will not touch him because of the
emphysema. It has been a very trying time.

Then on Friday, our family had another scare. Our fourteen year old was
in the hospital because of his appendix. He is doing better. Just
scared us. We are to watch him. The doctor didn't feel that his
appendix needed to be remove.

Thank you all for your prayers. The family deeply appreciates them. I
feel if it happen been for the power of prayer, Mr. Pennington wouldn't
be with us now

p.s. Mr. Pennington is the son of Milton Pennington & Mary Hudson
Pennington. He was the son of Henry Pennington & Cecila Tackett
Pennington. Mary was the daughter of Henry Hudson & Amanda Pennington
Hudson. Henry & Amanda (I think) were the child of Jasper & Mary Petty
Pennington.
