John Alan,

Probably the most reliable source of info on the Muncaster barons
would be the College of Arms in England:

College of Arms
Queen Victoria Street
London
EC4V 4BT

There has almost certainly been a "visitation" at Muncaster sometime
during its history. The COA could provide a transcript for $120.
One of my other families (Boynton, of East Riding Yorkshire) was the
subject of a visitation in 1666, and that was the price quoted for
such a transcript.
