Joel Warner Pennington Sr. b. 1803 was the son of Moses Pennington,
and grandson of Timothy of Group 4. Without more information it's
not possible to know which Joshua you are referring to, but Timothy's
brother Richard had at least one grandson named Joshua (son of Joshua
who m. Mary "Polly" Gist) who would have been a contemporary.
Another of Timothy's sons, Asa, married Rachel Lane, as noted
recently in someone else's message, so the connection to the Lane
family is another one of those that represents multiple
inter-marriages.

Joel Warner Pennington also had a son by the same name, b. 1840, but
obviously he's too young to be Elmina's father. I don't show Elmina
as a daughter of Joel Warner, but my information might be incomplete
and is not personally verified.
