Pennington Puzzlers, I found the following in transcriptions of Lee Co VA
deaths:

EDWARD PENNINGTON - d: May 5, 1860, Lee Co VA age: 91 y, 5 m. Old age
born: Ashe Co NC pts: Micajah & Rachel Pennington
Informant: Mary S. Cecil, daughter

CHARLES PENNINGTON - d: Nov. 1, 1876, Crab Orchard, (Lee Co) age: 72 yr
fever
born: Lee Co VA pts: Charles & Diannah Pennnington

Now, we know who those two are but can anyone identify this fellow?

FABIUS PENNINGTON - d: May 15, 1862, age 95 yr cause: unknown
born: Lee Co VA pts: unknown DIED INMATE OF THE POOR HOUSE
Informant: Andrew Johnson, Steward, Poor House

If the information is correct, he would have been born ca. 1767, making him
one of the older Penningtons of that area. Can anyone confirm that this
transcription is accurate and, if so, has anyone found FABIUS PENNINGTON in
any other records?
