There are 13 Penningtons listed here in Loveland/Ft. Collins CO. One of
them is from NC that I know for sure. My husband is a Pennington descendant

I have a bit of an unusual request.......

I was just going through some of Pete's old Air Force papers, and found the
name Claude R Pennington.

He was stationed with Pete at the Weaver / Ellsworth Air Force Base in
South Dakota. I knew of him but did not
meet him until we were in Prestwick, Scotland preparing to return to the
United States. We met one day going in opposite directions on a street in
Prestwick. Claude's nickname was/is Red. His home was Pennington Gap,
Virginia.

Now for my request! Does anyone know him or of him? Does anyone have an
email address of a Pennington in Pennington Gap, so that I might contact
them. Pete and I were in Pennington Gap and asked around about him, but no
luck.

While I am at it. It was a coincidence but our next door neighbor in Rapid
City was from Pennington Gap. And Rapid City is in Pennington County.
