Tom,
The more people who get tested, the better chance that you have of
discovering the group that you belong to. Many of these groups come from
similar areas and we've always believed that they were connected, but we've
never been able to find documentary proof. Genetic proof could at least
make it so you can confine your search somewhat. Nick can correct me if I
am wrong, but I believe if you happen to be tested...certain markers will
place you within certain groups.
