Mary, There several Penoyer branches who trace their
ancestry to John of Canandaigua, b 1777 (as we call him).
(There is also a John P. of Valatie, b 1775). We can guess but not
prove the ancestry of John of Valatie, but for John
of Canandaigua, we have no clue. Any attempt to trace the Wilkinson's
has also been fruitless.
The only new information I have is an account of the settlement
John joined when he first came to Canandaigua. I believe there are
dates and names of about 8 families.
And I will be pleased to s-mail you a copy of that historical brochure

I would like to know who is Elizabeth Wilkinson parents names. she is
married to John Pennoyer born 1777, she was born 1782 in Canandaigua, New
York. But I see some of you have Levi Wilkinson as the father I dont find
that any where on the net. In fact I dont find this family on the Net
anywhere.So would like to know where Levi Wilkinson comes in at as her
father.If anyone has this family could you please tell me where to find
them on the net.
