Searching for info on the following families:

KELLEY -

Searching (still!) for the family of Benjamin (Thomas?) KELLEY b c 1772 NY
(according to 1850 PA census) PERHAPS married 1st ? who perhaps died after
1818 in NY. Benjamin had a son Benj., possibly another son, and a dau., E
Mahala b 1808 in Ulysses, NY (Mahala, married into the BUCKINGHAM family of
CT).

2nd (?) marriage to Mary HOEL/HOLE perhaps in Wayne Co., PA. Mary was a
sister to the many HOEL's in Oregon Twp., Wayne Co., PA area 1850's. Benj.
migrated from NY to Wayne Co., PA by 1822 when a dau., Nancy, was born to he
and Mary. Nancy married Isaac TURNER 1848. A son Robert married into the
KILLAM/KELLUM/etc. family of Wayne Co. Benj and/or his son Jr. had two
tanneries in the Wayne Co. area.

I have been researching the O'KILLIA/KELLEY/etc. family and truly wonder if
he could be a descendant with all the Benj. in the family. I cannot find my
Benj. (naturally) but since some of this extended family did migrate to NYS,
it seems highly probable he belongs somewhere.

Then there is the KELLEY family from Somerset Co., NJ. There are Benj.
there and of the same time frame but cannot make the connection.

Anyone have any clue with this Kelley and the above families they married
into???

OLSOMMER - Denis b 1822 Alsace-Lorraine, FR d in Pike Co., PA m Barbara
HILD b Alsace-Lorraine, FR - they married in Brooklyn, NY 1845 They moved
to Pike Co. and had 7 children.

SIMPSON - Joseph SIMPSON b c 1788, Ireland d aft 1870 Wayne Co.,
Pennsylvania, married Sarah ALLEN b c 1798, Ireland emig. to NY 1820 (Sarah
may be part of the ALLEN family who migrated from Ire. and with the Thomas
LEE family).
They had 9 children: Eliz. b Co. Tyrone, Ireland m Thos. BORTREE; Wm., b ?;
Jane Ann b 1824 PA m Christopher BEELER; James b c 1825 PA; John b c 1828
PA; Thomas b 1830 PA m Lousia ENGLE; Aberham b c 1833 PA m Mary Jane ?;
Daniel b c 1838 PA; Sarah b c 1848 PA.

In the book 'Biographical Commemorative of North East Pennsylvania' the
information was given that dau. Elizabeth Simpson was born in Tyrone.
(She married Thomas BORTREE who was also born in Tyrone but another of
their sons said Antrim). The birth dates are all 'circa' since they came
from ages given in the US Census of Pennsylvania 1850, and it also shows
Joseph and Sarah were born in Ireland.
