Hello- I am looking for a Penny/Penney family from PA- William and Mary
DeCorse Penney. I'm not sure how many of the children were born in PA or
elsewhere, but their names were Benjamin DeCorse Penney, John Penney, Rachel
Penney and Frances who married a Connor. The children moved to IN and AR.
Son Ben Penney was born around 1830 in IN so that's all I have to go on
for a time period. How long before 1830 they moved from PA I don't know. I
find William Penney in PA census 1790 thru 1840.
Does anyone know anything about PA Penneys? I just received
confirmation that they were in PA and haven't really looked there much yet.
William Penney was from England and Mary DeCorse was from Alsace
Lorraine. I copied passenger lists submitted by Norm Brake last year and
there are several William's arriving in PA, but I really don't have a clue
when they came over. I can certainly eliminate those later dates. Thanks

I will go check out PA sources, but just wondered if anyone knew of PA
