Alastair Steven, Clunie, Moray St, Blackford, Perthshire is the man who
controls the copywright of this book. He say he has the odd copy from the
last reprint kicking around. Write to him, but first work out how you might
pay for a copy in the UK as he is well into his eighties and uninterested in
exchange rate hassles.
Alastair also has a copy of A Highland Parish. There was a fire in the
warehouse shortly after this book was published and most copies were
destroyed which makes the book less common that it should be. The last copy
I saw sold went for £47. However it contains little genealogical info. If
you really want your cages rattled, consider the Atholl Chronicles - 6
volumes, cost - if you can find it - c£400, 100 pages of index which
consists mostly of individual names.
The archives at Blair might contain 10,000+ names going back to the 16th
century.
