V'Ayn is one version of Vic Iain = "of the son of Iain". Mhic,
pronounced, and often spelt, Vic, is the genitive of Mac, son of.
Dowyll is a name I think. There are plenty of McDowells about. Dow is of
course a spelling of Dubh, the Gaelic for black, sometimes referring to a
black house, eg Gregor Og of the Dow. (Young Gregor of the Black House).
It could be Donald. The usual spelling is Domhnull with a long o, and
sounds like dawl.
Neyn defeats me for the moment. It could be Nic Eyn, daughter of Iain.
But I am guessing. I cannot claim to be expert.
The obit. is clearly trying to tell you about her ancestry.
