But I'm a great believer in replying to the List :-) - you never know what
it may produce, or whom it may help.

So - a few more details.

Margaret was the daughter, bap 1797 in Comrie, of Duncan STEWART, a road
surveyor, and Christian McLAREN who were married in 1797 at Comrie, Perth.
She had siblings Janet 1798 Comrie, Alexander 1805 Kincardine by Doune, and
Helen 1810 Kincardine by Doune.

Margaret (STEWART) MCLAUSE died in 1876 in Tradeston, Glasgow.

Children of John MCLAUSE and Margaret STEWART included:
Christian 1824 Kippen Stg
Janet 1825 Kippen Stg; married Alexander PICKEN (her sister's widower) 1867
in Tradeston Glasgow.
Mary ca 1832, married William ARNOTT in 1851 in Gorbals, Lks and they had
several children; Mary died in 1916 in Dunoon, Argyll
Margaret ca 1834, married Alexander PICKEN 1856 in Tradeston Glasgow, they
had two children, but Margaret died in 1865 in Uddingston, Bothwell, Lks.
