My great great grandparents were Donald & Jean (McNaughton) Stewart. Jean
was born in about 1792 at Dowally, Perthshire. Her parents were John &
Isabella (McDonald) McNaughton. On Sept 11, 1823 Jean married Donald at Dowally.
She died Sept 15, 1871 at Craigend in Clunie parish.

Once married Donald & Jean lived in Dowally parish. Between 1832 & 1840 they
moved to Glenderby in Kirkmichael parish.

According to the Kirkmichael Census, the family was still on the farm in 1841
& 1851. Between 1851 & 1871 the family moved to the Craigend of Riechip in
Clunie parish.

I am a retired teacher living in Canby, Oregon, USA. I suspect that it is
likely that I'll look forward to hearing from anyone who may be related to my
McNaughtons.
