Robert-
Isn't it difficult for us for us to sort out who's who centuries later,
when the families gave eveyone the same names? In the case of John Stewart
1756-1806 & wife Mary Buchanan, we know that he himself recorded his
children in the parish register. There is the expected Alexander who m Mary
Simpson, and a David but no Daniel.

Since Robert is my ggggrandfather, I know all about him. A mention of his
sister Katrine who married a Clark and went to Australia. But nothing about
the rest of the 9 children- who could also have emigrated "across the pond".

Maybe someone else can help. I'll get in touch with you if I learn anything
further.
