There's probably no connection to your Elisabeth McNaughtan, however,
you never know!
I, too, have an Elisabeth (Elspeth) (Eliza) McNaughtan born about 1740,
probably in Weem -- no record found so far. She married John McNaughtan (Mc
Naughtane) of Fortingall on 17 January 1762 in Weem, but all their children
were baptised in Fortingall. They lived in Glenlyon on various farms over
the years: Morganclough, Aird, Cashlie. He was the miller at Milton Eonan
for some time. Duncan McNaughton, who was the genealogist for the clan, told
me he thought John was the son of the famed John "White Horse" McNaughtan.
No proof, though.
Their children were: Christian, 1763; Robert, 1765; Unnamed, 1772; John,
1774; Katherine, 1777; Donald, 1781; Elizabeth, 1783. This last Elizabeth
may be the one who married John MacCallum.
Let me know if you see any connections.
