Hi,
I'm Ronald K. Philbrick from Ct. I'm not understanding your argument as to
whether or not William was Thomas' father. Thomas was baptized on or around
1545-1550. William died 1559 and was born prior to 1540. If you do the math
is it very possible that William was Thomas' father and Robert was Thomas'
brother being baptized in 1561. This being true for your argument, why was
father Robert baptized 11 years after his supposed son Thomas in 1545-1550?
Your supposition is based on William being married in 1559 and Thomas being
baptized 14 years prior to that. It is possible that William fathered Thomas
before he was married. It even happened liked that back then.So it would go
like this:
William, born prior to 1540 (could be 1520-1525, his father Nycholas died in
1563),fathered Thomas, baptized 1545-1550, fathered Robert, baptized 1561,
William then married 1559 and died in 1579. I hope this helps. This strictly
my opinion as I have no documents in front of me. I think Jack Ralph's
dtermination is accurate. Ron
