Holmesburg is between Cottman and Rhawn and the Delaware River and
Rowland St. in the Northeast, Overbrook is along City Line (City Ave.)
between Overbrook Ave. and about Bala. Hestonville and Haddington are
in West Philadelphia between Market and Lancaster Ave. just below
Overbrook. I don't know a neighborhood called Belmont but Belmont Ave
is in West Philadelphia bordering Fairmount Park and there is a
Belmont Hills in Montgomery County.

Any good map of Philadelphia will show the neighborhoods. Precise
boundaries are always a matter of dispute.

Can any one tell me the locations of these sections of the city in the late
1800's

Holmsburg, Belmont, Overbrook and Hestonville as well as Haddington.
