Hi, I am knew to the 'PHILLY" list and hope someone mmight be able to help
me?

I am researching the HENSEL family in Philadelphia. I was in Philly recently
and had a rewarding genealogy journey to Laurel Hill cemetary and to several
addresses of 'family homes' that were once. I was unable to find a family
home on PARK St. It seems Park street does not exist as I could not find it
on the map and the helpful gentleman at the Visitors Information had never
heard of such a street. It was, according to the family document I have from
the turn of the century, located near SPRING GARDEN St. (which I found
easily) I do know the street existed in 1883. Has anyone an idea where this
street once was, has another Park Avenue in Philadelphia they think it might
be or an idea whom I might write to for information regarding old maps of
Philadelphia? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
