Gay, the Archdiocese won't have information on a Baptists church. The
Archdiocese is Roman Catholic.

You might want to try the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Historical Research
Center. I just got information about them from a fellow researcher (Thanks
Steve!!). They have a website at
http://www.archdiocese-phi.org/ch/archives.html.
They have records of marriage and baptismal records before the year of 1900.
Anything after that year you need to write to the individual church.
Check out their website or call them at 610-667-2125.
Ii just sent a request to them regarding my great-grandfather's marriage
record. I didn't have the church name, but they told me just to include his
address at the time of marriage, and they might be able to find it.
I'll let you know what I receive.
