Gene--I think I sent a previous email to you, when I had intended it to
be for the List--sorry.
I recently found a Marriage Certificate at the City Archives (I drove
down for the day from CT). It is one of the newly typed versions, not a
copy of the original. The date is 1877, Person performing ceremony is
Hugh Sane-Catholic, address is 1337 Catharine St.. How do I get a copy
of the original? I thought I was getting the application for the
license in view of finding parents information. Does anyone know if
there is a Catholic Church at this address?
Marriage is for Isaac McCLOSKEY, iron moulder (where were iron works in
Phila?), address unknown, parents unknown, and Elizabeth CLYMER, lived
with her father, Robert CLYMER at 755 S. 4th St.
Any help or advice ?????
