R Stockton was Richard Stockton signer of the Declaration, he was the
great great grandson of the immigrant Richard and great grand nephew to
my Mary. Dates for him are 1 October 1730 to 28 February 1781 he married
Annis Boudinot b. 1 July 1736 d. 6 February 1801. I have the following
children: Julia, John Richard, Abigail, Lucius Horatio, Mary and Susanna.
It is noted that he died young due to the deterioration of his body from
the treatment he recieved as a prisoner of war during the Revolution.
This Richard had the home of "Morven" in what is now Princeton, NJ. The
Springfield homestead was built by the original Richard and am unsure as
to what line it was passed to, I would have to go back over the Will
abstracts that I have
Richard (above) was the son of John Stockton (10 August 1701-20 May 1758)
and Abigail PHILLIPS (9 October 1708-15 September 1757) married 21
February 1727/28. I have 10 childrena nd dates-some marriages- if you
are interested.
