Subject: [PHILLY-ROOTS-L] SSDI question
Date: Mon, 3 Apr 2000 21:35:26 -0400
Hi Everyone,
I saw all the questions about the SSDI and I might have missed the answer I
needed. I have my grandfather's ss# and his case number. He died in 1961
and there was a lump sum payment made. I've searched the index every way I
can think of including using his ss# to no avail. I'm assuming he was
ommited from the index.
My question is if I write and send his ss# and all other info and the $7 fee
will they send me a copy of his original application.
Thanks so much,
Dian
