Is there anyone on this list who lives close to, and has current
knowledge of, visitors' rights at Independence Hall? I have just
learned that one of my ancestors, who was influential during the
Revolutionary era, is portrayed in a painting on display at the Hall.
(1) I'm wondering if the entire Hall is currently open to the public, or
if any section is closed for renovations. (2) Are tourists allowed to
bring cameras (flash or non-flash) into the building? (3) Would the
agency that runs facility make prints of the paintings available for
sale to the public? I'd greatly appreciate any advice from someone who
is "up" on these matters.
