Hi Kathy,
I visited Greenmount Cemetery looking for my g grandmother's grave. When we
arrived we found a lot more then we expected. My g grandmother was buried
in the same plot as her father and mother and younger brother. So, I got
the name of my gg grandparents.
The folks there were very pleasant. In fact one gentleman went with us to
the grave and walked off the graves of my gg uncle (which was another plot
and another family line) and then found the grave of my g grandmother. He
stayed with us to chat and discussed the marker which was a civil war marker
for my gg grandfather James D. Patterson. We would never have been able to
find the graves because they were unmarked except for the small government
marker. What a nice find and nice folks.
Good luck.
I hope you have a good experience also.
