Hi Vince: Hope you can assist in finding subject Civil War soldier who died
in Jan.,
1862, while camped with the 61st Inf., near Bradford,P.A. He was from
Phila., and
he may have died of Typhoid Fever (the regiment had man who expired from this
dis-
ease). His name was Joseph E. Walker. Any assistance would be appreciated,
since I haven't a clue as to where he is buried. His mother, Eliza Walker,
came up
(from Philly) to claim the remains . Thanks in advance.
Lew
