I am looking for William W. Moore ( Born Feb. 1896-Phila.) who was a
World War 1 veteran. I haven't ben able to find out his date of death,
nor where he is buried. I have been trying to locate his military draft
information in the Philly draft records but so far all I know is that he
was a private in the army in 1919.
Since, he reportedly suffered from " Gas exposure" in Europe & died
sometime close to 1940,
Is there a directory of WW1 Vet's for the Philly. area that can be used
as a guide?; I don't know where his draft board was located.
I was looking for help on researching the local Vet's hospital since I
am under the impression that he was treated there for a number of yr..
Any short cuts, suggestions, etc. Thanks,
Joe Moore
