Bryant,
Some are kept among personal papers, some may go in the "circular file,"
and some, thankfully, are donated to GSP or HSP. HSP has the larger
collection of undertaker records, but GSP has some that HSP doesn't have.
GSP's funeral home records are listed on
http://www.libertynet.org/gspa/other1.html along with Bibles, genealogies,
cemeteries, pastoral records, "and more." HSP's card catalog can be accessed
through http://www.hsp.org/library/collections/opac/index.html
