Subject: [PHILLY-ROOTS-L] KITE -> HOEFLICH and migrations...

Checked PCDs.
Catharine Kitty KITE did, indeed, marry Paul, and almost as soon as
he died, left Westport, PA to come back to Philadelphia. She is found
in the 1840 PCD as Catharine HOEFLICH. There is also a Rudolph
K[ite?] HOEFLICH found in stationery at 132 Arch in 1875 (he is found
earlier on, as well as others... she had 14 kids!!), but living in
Camden, NJ at that time. He is not listed in 1880, so, presumably,
he moved entirely to Camden at that time. Others remained.
If anyone is seeking this name, and/or has further data on the name
of Catharine HOEFLICH (not too-too interested in offspring), I would
love to hear of it. She was last listed in the 1870 PCD, which is
to be expected, as she actually died in the year 1870.
Thanks,
Vince
