If you go to Google.com and type in Gesu Church Philadelphia you will get a
few hits and perhaps good answers to your questions. Briefly, Church of the
Gesu was founded in 1868 and consolidated in 1963. t is in the shadow of St.
Joseph Preparatory School, both run by the Jesuits. And yes, the records are
held at St. Malachy.
Perhaps you will get an answer sooner, but if you want to send me your
ancestors' addresses I will check them to be sure you have the correct parish
