Dear Listmembers:

I have just joined the list in hopes that someone on the list can help
me flesh out the bones of the skeleton I have dug up so far.

I am seeking information re the name of the father of James Nixon Boyd
as well as any other information regarding this family, ancestors, descendents
and origins. I am aware of the general Boyd name history, I am seeking the
specifics of my line. I understand from census records that James' father
may have been born in Ireland.

I do not have much to offer here, however, I am more than thrilled to
have finally broken through the Great Fire and Earthquake of 1906 that
had been a major brick wall for me. I do not know if there were other
children.
