Hello,
Can anyone help me with what ward the address 1245 Edgemont Street would be
in 1875-80? Are they any searchable directories (by address) in that time
frame?

I have an obituary for Samuel LAIRD, son of Ralston and Ellen LAIRD who died
at age 13 in 1876 on Petty's Island. He was buried in Franklin Cemetery and
the funeral was from the residence of his aunt at 1245 Edgemont Street in
Philadelphia. Of course they do not name the aunt and I would love to know
her name.
