Bob - - - For a death record in 1856 in Ridley Township, Delaware County, PA,
is this one that might be found in the Philadelphia "Out of City" records?
Distance-wise it is not far, but the event having occurred in a different
county may be of some import. Family believes that our g-g-gf, John Henry
LASCUM is buried at Prospect Hill Baptist Burial Grounds, but repeated
verification requests to the church/records holder have remained unanswered
(at least 5 years of many SASE, letters, recorded phone messages, personal
visits, etc. --- "records not available"). We have a DOD, July 25, 1856,
and location as information given on Girard College application for his son's
entry, who is our great-grandfather.

About 10 of us will be able to join DAR/SAR if we can find a document which
verifies g-g-g-parents' names, all other ancestors are properly documented.

Does anyone have the FHC roll number, by chance?

Any and all help is most gratefully appreciated and thank you !!!!
