Dear Fellow Researchers,

Am looking for any sign that my gg grandfather might have lived in Philadelphia at some point. He arrived in NYC in 1850. No trace of him till 1865 in Staten Island NY. His son, my g grandfather was supposedly born in Philadelphia in 1862, but can't find a birth record. The mother of the children, the first born in 1856 was Mary Maloney who I have reason to believe was deceased when Louis showed up in Staten Island, NY with a supposed wife named Ellen. City directories for Philadelphia show no Louis Ginocchio for this time frame. If anyone notices this name could they please let me know. Perhaps a lookup in the 1860 census index which I don't have easy access to. Any ideas on this one appreciated. Louis is buried in Evergreens in Brooklyn, but can't find Mary except on two childrens marriage records. She probably would have been in her late twenties or early thirties if she was deceased by 1865.

Many thanks,
Bob Pearce
