Hi,
Can anyone help me find out "anything" on:
FRIEDRICH GUSTAV STÜBGEN/ OR
H. G. STUEBJEIN
Born September 16, 1811
Died September 04, 1849 in Philadelphia.
He may have come to America in 1932.
Extract, Philadelphia Public Ledger, Stept. 10, 1849
"The funeral of H.G. Stuebjein, an old member of Capt.
Binder's Company took place yesterday afternoon from
his late residence North Eight Street above Wood. The
escort was composed of the Washington National Guards,
Capt. Reese; Washington Volunteers, Capt. Wilhelm; and
Independent Rifles, Capt. Zimmerman. The remains were
deposited in a grave at Monument Cemetery with military
honours."
More about FRIEDRICH GUSTAV STÜBGEN:
Burial: September 09, 1849, Monument Cemetery,
Philadelphia.
How would I find out if he married? Had children?
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.
Beth
