Subject: [PHLY-RTS] newspaper mention
Date: Sun, 7 Sep 2003 14:54:21 -0400
I found a newspaper abstract from the 18 Sep 1782 Pennsylvania Gazette that
starts:
"Staus, Balthaser, late of the Northern Liberties of Phila., yeoman, dec'd;
his estate by will is divided among his eight children, . . . " It further
lists the executor.
With the will and executor being mentioned, this does not seem like a
regular obit or death notice. Does anyone have any idea why this would be
in the paper? Or what I would request a copy of from the FLP?
Thank you,
Brenda Antal
