Hello Olga:
I have the book "The Philadelphia Police" that goes up to 1880. I have
found Samuel Smith and several listings for Craig, but none for James. If you
will contact me off line I will be glad to give you the info. The other police
files are at the Philly City Archives and sad to say are rapidly going to
ruin. They are stored in the basement in boxes that show they have been placed
under leaking pipes.
In the very near future there should be an update on police files that
will be on cd's. This is being done by a retired member of the force known as
"Scratch". Terry
