Merle - are you sure you read that correctly?

I read the IGI entry for Elizabeth Newcamp to say that she was CHRISTENED 23
Feb 1832 at St. Michael's in Germantown to Philip Newcamp and Louisa.

If you click on the batch number you can see those are extracted records of
christenings from the church register.

There is only one entry for her under that spelling on familysearch except
for someone with the same name who appears on the 1880 census.
