Subject: Re: [PICARD] Anybody there?
Date: Sun, 12 Mar 2000 11:00:50 EST
Yes I am here, son of marie Martha Angeline PICARD from Pointe Coupée (New
Roads) Louisiana.
I am related to the Picards of Pointe Coupée, who are descendants of Joseph
Picard who came to Pointe Coupée from Colonial Illinois following the treaty
of 1763. His ancestors originated in St. Remy de Dieppe, Diocese of Rouen,
Normandie, France.
Came to Canada then went to Detroit, Illinois and then Pointe Coupée.
