I am seeking information on this individual and the location of the family in New York in the early 1800s. Census records of Iroquois Co. IL indicate he was born ca. 1806 in New York. I descend through his son, Suplear/Cyprien who was born ca. 1833 in New York per census records. I have reason to believe this family was in Henryville, Quebec in the 1830s or 1840s which is very near the New York/Vermont border with Canada. This family located to Kankakee and Iroquois Counties, IL in the mid 1850s with Suplear/Cyprien later moving to Texas and then to Oklahoma where he is buried (Tecumseh).
