Oh thank you! I would be so pleased if you could help me.

My great grandfather George W. Harper was supposed to be a physician there.
The NGS Deceased Physician file has no record of him. He is a brickwall. He
had 2 children: my grandmother Martha May Harper, who was born July 21,
1877, and George Harper, Jr. who was born in 1880. He died in 1880 or not
too long after. His birthplace is given as Fairhaven, Preble Co., OH. Other
than that, he is a complete mystery.

I think my great grandmother, Mary Jeanette Pierson, married R. W. Mayne not
too many years afterward. They had 4 children: Will Mayne, Reuben W. Mayne,
M. Alice Mayne, and Walter P. Mayne.

M. J. Pierson's maternal relatives are not quite so mysterious; we have some
information on the Elliotts.

Her father Stephen Pierson is a brickwall.
