Is your John M the one who is in Pequanac in 1830?
The only documented David Pierson having children in Morris County around 1800 was the son of Benj Pierson and Phebe Raynor, and his only documented wife was Abigail Thompson. David and Abigail were both born in the 1760's, were married in 1789, and he died 1824, she in 1842.
