Hi List,

I hate to say this, but I feel it should be said.

If my Washburn - Mitton connection is flawed, I would like to know it
before I tell too many of my own family members that we are descended
from royalty. I have only told one so far. I think I will hold off
telling any others until I can document or believe for sure that all the
connections are correct.

Maybe a rollcall of Plantagenets is not such a good idea because there
are so many generations and connections to cover to get from Henry III to
the present. For me this is possibly 26 generations. If we don't list all
the generations, then the data becomes hearsay and not documented fact.
If connections are not exposed to the light of day, then how will we
uncover mistakes? If any one of the connections is flawed, then a whole
line drops out. The people on this list mostly believe in their hearts
that they are descended from royalty. I don't know if we want to try to
take that away.
