Hi again Anthony, it was worth a try! My earliest Davis immigrant ancestor
was Dolor Davis, b 1593, Bennefield, England. He married Margery Willard,
and both died in Barnstable MA about 1673. Their son, Samuel Davis, b 1639
England m Mary Meadows and both died in Concord, MA. Their son, Eleazar
Davis, m Eunice Potter, both died MA. Their son, Timothy Davis, m Hannah
Smith, and both died Middlesex Co., MA. Their daughter, Lucy Davis, m Thomas
Eaton and they both died in Fitchburg, MA. It was another couple of
generations before the families moved on west, their grandson-in-law, Verin
Daniels, to Jacksonville, IL. I have other MD and NY connections, but not on
this line. If anyone is interested, I have more on dates and such.
Thanks for giving me your line! As I say, worth a try!
Blessings,
Joyce
