I am trying to get my ggguncle's military records from WW1 but I am at a
brickwall because I do not know the regiment he served in. There are no
relatives who can help me. If anyone can tell me how to find this
information I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Janice

According to the information at the site below you may be able to get his
record even if you do not know which regiment he searved in:
<< Standard Form 180
for obtaining military and pension records for World War I and later.
You are only charged a fee if the Archives finds information. You can send a
form even if you are not sure if your ancestor served in the Military. Supply
information about your ancestor and NARA will search their rosters. >>
