Hello Irene,
Your best source of information is probably the Austrian War Archives or
"Österreichisches Kriegsarchiv" in Vienna. They have information about
officers who served in the Austrian army in WWI, and they also have summary
information about the death of ordinary soldiers on "Totenkarteien" or death
index cards. This source enabled me to find information about a half-brother
of my grandmother who died on 10 November 1918, one day before the end of
the war.
Best regards,

Hi researcher,Did anyone find out where to locate the documents of those who
served in the Austrian Military until the end of WW!. They are not in
Vienna, Austria. If anywhere, they are somewhere in Poland.ThanksIrene
