I am looking for ancestors or descendants of my gr- grandfather, Jan Sokalski, or his brother, Vincent, who lived in Kopychintsi ((Kopyczynce in Polish), in Husiatyn district, Ternopil, Galicia (now the Ukraine).

Jan Sokalski was born in 1878 (perhaps earlier in 1868) in Kopychintsi and died in 1943 in Winnipeg, Canada. His third marriage was to Franciszka Kroliski (b. 1885) in abt. 1905. He and his family emigrated to western Canada in the early 1900s.
