I have received a few requests for "look-ups" in the book "A Historical
Bibliography of Polish Towns, Villages, and Regions (except Warsaw and
Krakow)" by Edward Peckwas, which was reprinted and translated into
English. This reprint was published in 1990.
Evidently many people think this is a gazetteer or encyclopedia. This
book only lists _other_ books that are about specific towns, villages,
etc. which were originally published in Polish. This book is also a
reprint of a book that was written in 1971.
So, while I am happy to look-up the information, please understand that
I will not be responding with specific information about an individual
village, town or area, only a book title. Your hunt will then continue
at your local public library with the help of the reference librarian.
Remember, if you do locate your village book, it will be in Polish.
