Dear Carol, and anyone else interested :-)
I figured out those numbers on my grandfathers ship manifest, he also had them.
This is the number of his naturalization. After he was naturalized, the INS
went back to the ship manifest and made sure that he was on the ship, than thay
wrote his nat. number in. If you check his naturalization papers, the numbers
should match.
