Christina,
I use ancestry.com because it's easy to start a new Surname.......
www.genforum.com is great also.......Check the names and if your surname is
not there...request it. Also there is a section for countries so you can
post on the Poland site. I took months to get the surnames I needed.....but
it was worth the wait.
Check the rootsweb listings...there may be more than one on Poland or Polish
interests.......and maybe even one on the name you need.
Rootsweb also has a Query/Posting section.
The LDS site has a posting section
http://www.familysearch.org/ under Collaberate with Others...on the left
column...main page
http://other.surnameweb.org/ leads to other places to post
http://www.surnameweb.org/ host your own surname so people can find YOU
http://www.iarelative.com/czech/ this site has links to lots of
places......including Polish stuff
http://feefhs.org/ Check this page carefully....some Polish links
http://www.pgsa.org/ look for Polish Forum
http://www.egroups.com/......search for your name......I found 2 of mine
German sites, Jewish sites and Holocaust sites often have Polish info and
links and places to post queries.
Happy hunting....and hope you meet some NEW cousins like I have!
